This may be a long post, but one day he’ll know

He’ll know that you love to sleep in on the weekends, but get up early on weekdays to get ahead start of the day. He’ll know that you can only play the same four chords on the guitar and sing off key but he’ll love to hear you over and over again. He’ll know that you have a fetish for glass water bottles that are BPA free and he’ll never question why. He’ll know that you’re in love with the Harry Potter series. He’ll know that you can mimic a British accent and love hearing you talk. He’ll know that you bite your lip and look down when you’re nervous and will grab your hand to calm your unsteady heart beat. He’ll know that a large matcha red bean smoothie from that bubble tea place will make any upsetting day a better one. He’ll know that you love going to church on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings and will pray with you. He’ll know that you can’t cook but are interested in learning, so he’ll give you private lessons himself or sign the both of you up for classes. He’ll know that you love going on hikes and every so often will surprise you for an out of the city road trip to find the provinces most beautiful trails. He’ll know your order from that shawarma place by your house. He’ll know when you word vomit stories to him that it brings you back to some of your happiest times. He’ll know that when you’re quiet you’re thinking about something. He’ll know when to ask you if you need to talk and he’ll know when to not say a word. He’ll know the perfect moments to make you laugh and the exact jokes to say. He’ll know that you pray to a God and would in turn, love to pray with you. He’ll know that you love big pillows and comfy blankets. He’ll know that you are head over heels in love with Ed Sheeran and John Mayer and Michael Buble.  He’ll know that you find comfort of home in his arms. He’ll know that you love your dog more than anything else. He’ll know that you fell in love with men who were ruthless to your heart and sometimes you pray for them. He’ll know that you have passion to see the world. He’ll know that your best friend is gay and is okay with it. He’ll know that you’re a work in progress. He’ll know that you love music, and will be fascinated with your wide variety in taste. He’ll know that you love your family. He’ll know that you don’t show emotion, but he sees the heart on your sleeve. He’ll know that you carry yourself with much confidence, and he’ll also know that most of the time you don’t know what you’re doing. He’ll know that you don’t know how to ride a bike or whistle. He’ll know that you wish you were best friends with your manager who is covered in tattoos and is a lesbian. He’ll know that you’ve been working so hard on your career and you aren’t happy. He’ll know that you want to start a mug collection. He’ll know that your favourite colour is mint green. He’ll know that you want a personal library. He’ll know that you have barriers built and will help you remove them slowly. He’ll know that you have a strong faith. He’ll know of your new love for David’s Tea. He’ll know that you’re a daddy’s little girl but he’ll know that you never want to marry a man like him. He’ll know that you’re loud and have pride but he’ll know that it’s because your mother never spoke up. He’ll know that you love/hate your sister, but he’ll know that you’ve been hurt by her many of times. He’ll know that you speak your mind and he’ll know that you carry so many burdens. He’ll know that you like adventures and surprises. He’ll know that you like to talk nonstop, but he’ll know that you also love to listen. He’ll know that you secretly love to write. He’ll know that you find happiness in the little things. He’ll know that you want to own a German Sheppard one day. He’ll know that you love spicy mayo. He’ll know when you’ve been praying and he’ll know that you always pray for others. He’ll know that sometimes you need help but will never ask for it. He’ll know that you’re excited for something when you do your happy dance, and he’ll know that usually happens when you’re at a restaurant in front of your food. He’ll know that you enjoy participating in marathons and push yourself each time. He’ll know that you only like wearing your Roots apparel because they’re comfy.  He’ll know that you adore blankarfs and want a whole collection of it. He’ll know that you’re into themed parties and will surprise you on your birthday. He’ll know that you love balloons. He’ll know that you have a sweet tooth and will take you to the dentist to fill that cavity which you’ve been ignoring. He’ll know that you love the Fitzgeralds. He’ll know that you’re saving up for that retreat with your parish for the summer instead of saving up for your birthday getaway. He’ll know that you are fearless and amazing. He’ll know that you don’t often put on makeup or dress up but when you do he’ll know that you’re beautiful with or without the glam. He’ll know that you wish you were still friends with an important person. He’ll know that you broke someone’s heart before and he’ll know the reason why. He’ll know that you’re a social butterfly but with very limited friends. He’ll know how upsetting it was when you were ignored and how your sister didn’t defend you. He’ll know that you’ve been fighting for yourself all along and won’t interrupt you but fight by your side. He’ll know that you are a warrior.  He’ll know that you got into an accident and forgave the person who was at fault, even though they weren’t asking for forgiveness. He’ll know of your free spirit. He’ll know of your flaws. He’ll know that your cousin is more of your best friend. He’ll know of your theory of how you believe that there’s more than just one soul mate in this world. He’ll know that you secretly want to be Vanessa Hudgens or Lily Collins. He’ll know that you love beards on guys. He’ll know that you’re left handed and have terrible writing. He’ll know that you’re a firecracker. He’ll know that you love the scent of your anti-stress lotion. He’ll know that you want five more tattoos. He’ll know that you have the hardest times looking for jeans. He’ll know that you like going to confession to that one priest. He’ll know that recently, your father told you something that was actually heartfelt. He’ll know that you don’t agree with your grandfathers living conditions or wife. He’ll know of how badly you wish to be with your cousins in California. He’ll know that you change your mind so often but wonders why you committed to two tattoos. He’ll know when you’re angry and he’ll know what to do. He’ll know that you like your time alone to be you. He’ll know that your favourite Disney movie is Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. He’ll know that your favourite book is Norwegian Wood by a Japanese author that you can’t pronounce. He’ll know that you’re down to try anything, especially when it comes to food. He’ll know that you have dairies and a blog. He’ll know that you can be fine on your own. He’ll know that you don’t believe in a hell. He’ll know that you are scared of a marriage. He’ll know that you want a wedding. He’ll know that he loves you. He’ll know that you enjoy puns and lame pick up lines. He’ll know that you love fries and pizza and sushi. He’ll know that you love pancakes. He’ll know that you prefer your hair short now and he’ll know that a year ago you had mermaid hair. He’ll know that you’ve been cutting out people from your life, that you’re going through a “friend cleanse”. He’ll know who matters to you. He’ll know that you love the smell of fall and French Vanilla coffee. He’ll know that you hate winter. He’ll know that Christmas is your favourite season. He’ll know that you wish your birthday was in May. He’ll know that you keep secrets and pinky promises. He’ll know that you hate spiders but will still kill them.He’ll know that he loves you and will tell you every day. He’ll know that he can pray to God with you and not feel ashamed. He’ll know that you are worthwhile and are worthy of being loved, as God intended.
